Harshavi’s journey began with a personal struggle. Despite her experience as a beauty writer for ELLE Magazine and working with A-list celebrities, she felt lost in the skincare wilderness. Makeup became her mask, hiding her skin insecurities. But as she delved deeper into the world of skincare, she discovered a disturbing truth: many products were not only ineffective but also unsafe for sensitive skin types, including pregnant women.
This revelation sparked a 3-year quest for knowledge. Harshavi immersed herself in skincare research, determined to create products that were both potent and gentle. She asked herself a pivotal question: "If an ingredient isn't safe for pregnancy skin, how can it be safe for normal skin?" This inquiry sparked a commitment to using only the most gentle, non-irritating ingredients in her products.
